1.) The skin area looks like it was patted down with or is on top of gauze. 2.) The 'wound' doesn't seem to have a ton of depth, no shading, you should have layered it with blacks, purples, navy blues and maroons to get a more realistic effect. 3.)And it would have been cool if you used actual wire-like thread. Since it would have made the photo look edgier, as well as more realistic. Even if you were a sick-o just fucking with people for the pure enjoyment of them suffering, wire would be more painful.
Oh, and I think you should have left the skin parts un-blured; it would make the picture seem again) edgier, and put more emphasis on the 'wounds'.
I didn't use gauze, it's liquid latex and it bumps up like that when its pulled on. And I was using a macro lens so the whole background gets blurred no matter what because its focusing on one specific part.
Then you're doing something wrong, or are using some generic liquid latex. It's not suppose to do that. It should retain enough elasticity to move nearly naturally with your skin.
And ML's suck. Because of them every tom dick and harry thinks they can be a photographer.
